Request a copy of your data
Updated 10 October 2026
Ask us for the personal data we hold about you. Tell us whether you mean MicroItalian records or your whole shared account.
To request a copy of your data, open the contact page and use the contact method shown there. Explain that you want a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Tell us what you need
Include your account email and say whether your request covers MicroItalian records or your whole shared account. You use the same account on SubLearn and the language-learning sites that share it, while records of your use of each site can differ.
If you are looking for a particular record, describe it in your message. We can only supply information we still hold; a request cannot recreate data that has already been deleted.
Before we send personal information
Write from your account email if you can. We may need to verify that the account is yours before sending the data. Keep passwords, sign-in codes and account recovery links private.
The time limit depends on the law that applies to your request. If the UK GDPR applies, we must comply with an access request without undue delay and normally within one month. For complex or multiple requests, a permitted extension can add up to two months. We must notify you and explain the reasons within the first month.
This concerns complying with the data request, not merely acknowledging an email. If we need more information or a legal limit applies, we will explain the next step. Your applicable data-access rights remain unchanged.
Keep your copy private
The files you receive may contain personal information. Save them on a device you trust, and avoid uploading them to public services to convert or share them.
If you also want to delete your account, request your copy first and wait until you receive it. We cannot restore an account after it has been deleted.
